The new PC starring in next week's episode is called PC Jimmy Yates played by Simon Lenagan. That's who that Mz girl had her picture taken with - not the new sergeant.

Apparently he's been in Heartbeat before - Series 11, ep 9 playing 'Ben Begley'.
Cool - at least we know who he is now - definitely knew is wasn't the new sergeant.

I know what I have seen him in - Coronation Street.
He played the bloke (Alex) a decorator, who Sally had a fling with, right up to marrying Kevin ( for the second time ) He even turned up at the Registry Office.
