MP3 Players

I'm looking 2 buy and MP3 player, have looked at iPODS and other players like Creative and iRiver but well they all seemed to have their faults and I was just wondering if any of you have got a player and would give me some advice, I might not get it 4 a while cos I have 2 save up but anything u can tell me would be much appreciated.

my mate as an ipod and thats really good, but i dont know much bout the others.

Yeah the thing with iPods though is that they're really expensive 4 the amount of disk space, u have 2 send the whole unit 2 apple when the battery dies, there are stories going round about players that die after the warrenty has expired. So I was just looking at alternitives. And wondered if anyone who had one had feedback.
