Yes, from "Trivia" down sounds like our Duncan, but for the rest I'm sure that whomever submitted the info has confused him with that footballer from Bath, also named Duncan Bell. No way is our Duncan 6 foot 3 - he's 5' 10" or 5'11" tops. (That's one of the ways I find him attractive - he's medium height and medium build - just a nice armful ) You've only to go to Steve's photo pages to see that - look at the photos of Dennis with Mike, with Steve, with Phil etc. Here's the link if you haven't got the address handy: www.freewebs.com/steve_c/Last night we had the repeat of "the Dear Departed", Episode 12, Season 13 here in Canada. Loved Dennis' first scene where he deliberately regards the dirty panda car. The music for that bit was "I Love the Way You Walk" and I think whoever choses the music to fit to the scenes was giving a cheeky nod to us Dennis fans. Cheers, Cynthia

Totally agree with you Cynthia, no way is he that tall. Mark Jordan is near enough 6 foot (I've stood next to him and he's a couple of inches taller than my other half, who is 5'10") and Duncan is definatley not as tall as Mark, I would guess 5'10" ish. James Carlton is about 6'3" and he towers over Duncan, who as you say is the perfect height. I think the "footballer" is a rugby player isn't he?

I think the "footballer" is a rugby player isn't he? Whatever Kate. I get confused with the English terms sometimes. Anyway, that Duncan Bell is, or was, a "prop" for Bath and he annoys me (because he clutters up the Search Results for the important Duncan Bell ;D) Cheers, Cynthia

It's very odd, isn't it. It seems like they have done a mix and match. I must admit it didn't really sound like him, I do wish these people on the IMDB would get their facts right.

But they do depend on what people submit to them, the IMDb I mean. The 'footballer' stuff has been there as long as I have been on this board because I remember writing something like "How nice. This will make four" when Heather [Aside: Heather? Are you still on this board? We never did see your picture.] wrote in about Duncan Bell opening a fete in her town and he was accompanied by a heavily-pregnant woman and Heather was over the moon because she had her picture taken with DB. But .... that said, I think the IMDb people are also very slow to make corrections and updates. I had email conversation three weeks ago with Martin who runs the "Boon" website. www.ken-boon.co.uk/ He submitted "The Zebra Man" info and link to IMDb for Duncan Bell, but it hasn't been posted yet. The other bit on the IMDb page, from "Trivia" down is more recently posted. Cheers, Cynthia

Duncan Bell looks to be about five-eleven. The Imdb has been mixed up for ages. Nice to see that this board is still working
