Ontario viewers have just seen this episode of Series 13. It was funny and sad to see Vernon gain a fortune and seconds later to see it lost. I loved David's reaction to Vernon's sports car driving. Those two certainly make quite a pair.

Citizen Alf seems to be getting out and about more. You are right poor Vernon but Vernon does bounce back he could salvaged the parts for a boot sale to other collectoers who need the parts for their roadsters, unless like some models each part was stamped for originality. Also Bernie and David did a good reverse Laurel and Hardy routine when they had to siphon gas from disabled vehicles when David inadvertently took the gas from the wrong drums at the time the drum were dumped unceremomiusly outside the station by the Aidensfield Arms.  |
