Right, finally my mum has agreed to take me to heartbeat/the royal country. You know Scarborough, Whitby, Goathland etc. Basically I told her that I wouldn't commit to any dates until I'd sounded out my buddies over whether anybody knew when there was going to be filming, or even when there is likely to be filming. It doesn't matter, I'm going anyway just for the scenery (I will be asking later where all the places they have filmed are so I can go there  ) So anybody any ideas? Spy_Master100880 |

Basically its luck of the draw as to when they film.
They film a lot in Menston(police station), Ilkley, Otley, Ripon (court), Whitby, Scarborough, Yorkshire dales (like when Steve died).
The scenery is beautiful I have to say (I love wakingn up to the hills everymorning) . Where abouts do you live? Just a warning here in the north the climate changes so often so even if its summer it often pours down!
They don't film at the weekends (unlike Emmerdale).

Thanks I might do that, get a list of places to visit for photo's etc. ;D I just wondered if they had any habits like they normally filmed on suchandsuch a day or at a certain time of year or month. Something to even the odds a little ;D

Every episode is different and it depends from year to year and every two weeks. I live not that far from the studios and always get little articles in the newspaper about the cast and crew. I will keep you more updated!

there was someone over on Bentns site that found out about it, some e-mail he sent 'cos his wife was going there or something, they might be able to help there.

I think Heartbea film pretty much all year round, don't they. As everyone says, it's just luck if you happen to catch a day when they're on location.
Good luck though, Spymaster. I'm sure you'll have a great time there whatever happens.
