Cna't say yet, I haven't seen an epesoid without him yet. I'm not sure if it's just him 'cos he was prett boring to me when he arrived but I think with so many gone it'll be weird.

 I'm going to miss Dennis and Jenny, but there's new characters on the way so it will pick up I'm sure. The crimbo ep was ok but it was a so weird not to see Duncan first on the opening credits  I guess we'll just have to get used to it and at least they didn't kill Dennis so we've still got him for our fanfics.

I think with loads of characters gone at once it will be weird-especially when the new doctor seems pretty boring.,,,and i'll miss duncan but you know its hard to tell at the mo

I totally, totally agree with you Lilly, the show is going to terribe without Duncan. We are a bit behind in Canada, but I am not anticipating not seeing Sgt. Merton and Sarah, have also heard about Geoff Hughes leaving. This is sad news for the show.  |

I think the Sgt. Merton character was quite good just the type needed after the rather "wimpish" Sgt. Craddock. I prefer the more rough around the edges type of Sgt. like the original Sgt. Blaketon.
I think it's easier to maybe replace a character like Sgt. Merton as it is let's say a Greengrass or Vernon. Vernon will be the tougher challenge to try to replace though I am not sure the producers will actually try to replace him?

They are not replacing him directly, as they did with Greengrass and Vernon, but they are bringing in a female version. David's Auntie will be arriving and, presumably, staying with him. She will be the new "local rogue". She's played by Gwen Taylor (i think), the woman who was in Barbara and other stuff.

Janey, was boarded today so after work I was looking at the christmas video (got it off a friend) and some old shows and I have to say I like the new doctor, and well I think I'm actually going to miss dennis.
