Hi SpyMaster, you'll find the answer to that one over on the Fan Fiction forum.

One thing which I forgot to explain is how to turn a picture into a clickable link, so this is the coding for that:
<A HREF="http://www.etc.html"> <IMG SRC="http://www.etc.jpg"></A>
So the first part of that (the .html part) is where you want the link to lead to, and the second part (the .jpg part) is the picture which you want to be displayed.
Clicking on the picture (second part) will take you to the address (first part).
I made a post like that last night over on Nadine's forum, in reply to Lotta's question. You will see that the picture is from my Angelfire address, but clicking on it leads to my Freewebs address. As usual, any questions just ask.
Oh and of course the reason why this coding doesn't work on here is because they must have disabled it, because it isn't needed anyway because they have provided all the little buttons to add pictures and hyperlinks and change your text to bold/italic/underlined etc. which you would normally do by using html coding.

Hmmm, well if you got a red cross in a box then you got most of the coding correct, and there was just a problem with the address of the picture. You can check the address of the pic by pasting it directly into an Internet Explorer address bar, then click on Go, and the pic should be displayed on the page, just by itself with nothing else. If that works but you still get a red cross when using it to make a link, then it's probably because the host server doesn't like for its files to be displayed elsewhere, and a great example of that is Freewebs. You will notice that there are still problems with some of the Avatars on the forums, and if you check the properties, you will see that those are the ones hosted by Freewebs. I'll just recap actually, because maybe nobody knows how this all started. Somebody put an image in a posting over on the FanFiction forum and SpyMaster was asking how it was done. So to answer that question, I made a page to explain, and that page is at Link: www.freewebs.com/steve_c8/coding.htmHowever, I forgot to explain how to use a picture as a clickable link so that's where this thread started out from. Well I think so anyway. I sometimes get confused.
