I heard, that if he marries Camilla, he can't be king anyway.
It's cos of the rules of the church. You can't recieve communion if you divorce and then remarry, so you're not really part of the church. And the king must be Church of England. Therefore, if Charles remarries, then he cannot be part of the church, so he can't be king. Otherwise, he would have married her ages ago. Don't kill me if i'm wrong, it's just what i heard, and it makes sense to me, given my history with the church.
And yeah, the queen will never abdicate. She shouldn't anyway. It's her birthright. Besides, Lizzie Rocks!

 If Charles becomes King i'm moving to Spain! Well, not necissarily Spain, but somewhere that's not here. I hear Australia is quite nice at this time of year... Wouldn't he be King of Australia too?  Just a thought |

Duncan Bell, as long as he wearing a kilt. ;D ;D Back to the origional topic.... Duncan Bell, deffinatley (I can't say I've ever seen him wearing a kilt but I think it would suit him, nice thought sooty cat  that made me smile.) Ian McShane, he's one of my fav actors. esp when he was younger, have you seen "The Battle of Britain" ? He was about 20 when that was filmed and looked gorgous Any of the Heartbeat or The Royal cast. |

But anyone from hb or tr and i'd quite like to meet the president of Mongolia - if they have one, but they must have someone like that, so i will try and find out!  |

Love Dennis, yes and I think the kilt idea really gets your imagination going doesn't it? As for the Royal thing, I really detest Camilla, they say she doesn't really like taking a bath, is unfeminine, etc. Hope it isn't true!!!!!!!!! Charles IS kind of sly looking. *sigh* I still miss Diana after all these years..... |

You are welcome. Hope that you get to visit there someday. For me England felt more like home than Canada. But as it is said Home is where the heart is. Duncan Bell would look smart in a kilt but it would be fun to see the cast have a scottish night at Lord Ashfordly to defend keeper of the Aidenfield realm. Then they could all wear kilts. But how would Lord Ashfordly set up a Scots night? His idea or Aunt Peg`s? |

Interesting thread this. All this chatter about Charles and Camilla and then I happened on a way to tie it back to HB. Apparently Camilla came into a fortune of approx. half a million pound on her majority, but lost a great deal of it through being a 'Name' at Lloyds. Here in Canada we've just had the Season 13 repeat where Vernon lost his money on the 'Torrey Canyon'. Perhaps Vernon and the future "Princess Consort" were unknowingly partners (grin).

I would love to sheep farm in Mongolia one day, but it's decreasing in popularity now and they don't earn much as sheep farmers. But it's still nice to dream, lol! ;D

I've changed my mind about who I'd like to meet. I'd love to meet Anthony LaPaglia, (although I would settle for any of the WaT cast), my only worry is that I would embarass myself. I can't help but thinking he's hot right
