Just letting you know that the Angelfire avatars showed up first time there when I opened the Dennis Merton page.
Over on the TR forum there is still a problem (for me anyway) with some of the Freewebs avatars but I see all the others which are hosted elsewhere.

The page looks a whole lot better when it doesn't have the blank spaces where the avatars are supposed to be, so it was worth the effort.
I'm starving - Steve heads for the kitchen.

You mean there are reasons for going to the kitchen other than making pancakes?
Yes, of course, pancakes it was and they were yummy.

Glad you enjoyed them I even forgot to make them pancake day Do you use packet mix, or make them from scratch.

Haha, yes I remember that - you even got a lemon specially out of Tesco and then you forgot to make them. I didn't even know pancake mix existed until B's big sister told me earlier this year. I always mix up my own batter because of course I always have the ingredients in the kitchen anyway. I have a cast-iron skillet which makes a great job of them too.
The best pancakes I ever tasted were when I was over in Holland for a week (on a training course) and I lived on these gigantic, perfect pancakes, with apple and cinnamon and nutmeg and all sorts of wonderful things in them. They didn't even cost much either and as I recall it, I could buy those almost anywhere. It was so depressing to return here and the choice is either fish and chips or McDonalds.

Thanks a lot Spy_Master, he's looking good. Is there an easy way to get an avatar there if you don't have a web page.

This one's for SpyMaster - I was reading through the Angelfire Terms of service and clause 14 says: 'If a user of the unpaid version of Angelfire or Tripod does not build a homepage within twenty eight (28) days after registering for such service, Lycos may delete such member's Angelfire or Tripod account. ' I assume that this is to prevent anybody doing what I was doing - using it purely as a hosting service (for avatar images). So to be on the safe side, I've created a very basic homepage - just a line of text and a photo - you might want to think about doing the same. My homepage address is www.angelfire.com/electronic2/steve_c/index.htmland yours would be www.angelfire.com/empire2/heartbeat/index.htmlYou should find that the file 'index.html' already exists and you just need to edit it. You can use the page builder wizard, or go into advanced mode and copy and paste the following (changing the page title and the image url and sizes, as appropriate):

Steve's Place 2

Steve's HB Place
